The FPM 1.7m Hydraulic Double Cutter Bar Mower P-LK170/2H is an ideal machine for smallholders and estate owners. This mower is ideal for cutting grass and other forage crops for hay-making.
The P-LK170/2H attaches to the PTO of the tractor, with a recommended RPM of 540. This powers the double cutter bar with two rows of serrated blades providing a scissor-like cut thanks to the reciprocating movement. The main bar is manufactured from a special type of stainless steel, namely spring steel. This gives it high strength and appropriate flexibility. This mower requires very little power to run so it is an incredibly eco-friendly machine.
The cutter bar can be positioned from the comfort of the tractor cab, with the aid of the tractor’s hydraulics.
The tooth blades are positioned in two rows along the cutter bar. This double cutter bar mower has a safety system for the automatic release of the cutter bar in case of an impact with an obstacle. This prevents damage to the tractor.
The FPM 1.7m Hydraulic Double Cutter Bar Mower is easy to fit and operate. It can attach to most compact tractors via the 3-point linkage. The mower fits category 1 and 2 linkages.
